LED (light-emitting diode)
LED lamps have a particularly white color with a color temperature of approximately 5500 ° -6500 ° K. All Kowalski LED lamps now have the option of selecting the output light colour temperature to suit your lighting needs.
The Focus and Mini X-LED comes as standard output 6500K (Cold White), but can be specified as 5000k output (Neutral white/Daylight).
The Module LED spot for Select 620 comes as standard output 6500K (Cold White), but can be specified as 5000k output (Neutral white/Daylight).
The Module LED flood for Select 620 comes as standard output 6500K (Cold White), but can be specified as 5000k output (Neutral white/Daylight) and also has the option of a Cree MT-G Easy White LED giving 3000k warm white output equivalent to halogen lamps.
With all of the non standard LED output temperatures please email us for delivery information.
LED diodes are suitable for use in high-luminosity lamps. The effeciency of a good LED is approximately 80-100 lumens / watt. Kowalski Lamps use high effeciency CREE LED chips.
A stable current regulation allows for the use of LEDs in diving torches due to the high life of up to 100,000 hours and a lower current which means long burn times that are increasing all the time with technological advances.
All of these Kowalski LED lamps use high quality components and are beautifully engineered to give a lamp that just keeps on working.
